Introduction

The Samsung A52 is a Mid Tier smartphone in the ViserMark ranking table (Smartphones priced between 200 and 500 EURO). With a price of just over 400 EURO, this smartphone offers 5G connectivity thanks to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720 G chipset powering it. A 4500 mAh battery and a 120 Hz display complete the most essential features of the Samsung A52.

The overall Battery Performance Score is now a global score taking calculations from Battery Life, Power Efficiency and Charging Times.

We gave this Smartphone a ViserMark score of 42 based on the different test results. This score places the Samsung smartphone in the low part of ViserMark's overall ranking, 26 points below the leading Smartphone. With a mix of low Power Efficiency and standard autonomy lengths, the device has a lower Battery Performance score.

The Samsung A52 autonomy was nearly 39 hours with a 60 Hz refreshing rate compared with 36 hours with a 120 Hz refreshing rate, as shown in Figure 1.

In conclusion, the Samsung Galaxy A52 5G battery performance leaves doubts about both its autonomy and power efficiency. Compared with other Mid-tier devices, the A52 5G is behind several competitors like the Xiaomi Redmi 9T pro, Realme 8 Pro, OPPO A54 5G, Poco F3, and OnePlus Nord CE. To climb to the Top of the ViserMark ranking, the autonomy must be increased at least one more day while maintaining the same battery size.
