There are a number of power-efficient processors, within today's Smartphones, that are able to cope with the growing number of new applications and can support high-resolution displays without compromising battery life.

Power Efficiency is calculated using Battery Life and Battery Capacity. This is expressed in “Leaves" and reflects a rating between 1 being least and 5 being the most power-efficient.

The Moto G30 achieved an overall Power Efficiency Score of 2, this score places the smartphone just in the middle of ViserMark power efficiency ranking compared with other entry tier devices.

Conclusion

The Moto G30 is one of the top featured entry-level smartphones offering additional capabilities while keeping a low price.

Compared with other entry-level Smartphones sharing similar battery sizes, the G30 stands again in the middle of ViserMark ranking in terms of autonomy, the device offers similar performances to direct competitors like the Realme C11, the Vivo Y11S and the Nokia G10.

In conclusion, the Moto G30 offers good autonomy combined with extra features for an entry-level device and efficiency. However, the charging time would be an area for improvement for Motorola to reach the Top of best-performing devices in terms of battery.

ViserMark tests are performed with the strictest protocol in a controlled environment to ensure repetition and consistency powered and automated by SmartViser’s test automation solution viSer. The automation test includes a variety of user actions from calls to social media and periods of standby times.

Background

Motorola created the mobile communications industry. They have invented most of the protocols and technologies that make mobile communications possible, including the first mobile phone, the first base station and pretty much everything else in between.

Today, Motorola is combining that pioneering spirit with a renewed commitment to consumers. That’s why their phones run on Android, the world's most popular operating system. Android brings the openness that shaped the Internet to the mobile world. That’s also why they are the first company to bring smartphone production back to the USA and allow people to customise their own phone design.

For the past 80 years, their engineers have thrived on invention; on finding new ways to solve problems. Today Motorola continue to look for new opportunities to change people’s lives for the better through the magic of mobility.
