The OPPO A54 5G smartphone is one of the most accessible 5G devices in 2021, it arrives as the evolved version of Oppo A53. When comparing the most important changes, we find a Snapdragon chipset instead of Mediatek, as well as a full HD+ display with a 90 Hz refreshing rate.

The Oppo A54 5G is classed as a Mid-Tier device in the ViserMark ranking table (Smartphones priced between 200 and 500 EURO), with a price around 250 EURO. It is one of the cheapest Mid-Tier smartphones in terms of 5G connectivity, an economic bet from the Chinese brand, powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 chipset and powered by a well sized 5000 mAh battery.
The overall Battery Performance Score is now a global score taking calculations from Battery Life, Power Efficiency and Charging Times.
Based on the different test results, we have given this Smartphone a ViserMark score of 48. This score places the Oppo A54 5G smartphone in the middle of ViserMark ranking overall, the Oppo A54 5G is 20 points below the leader with a score of 68. Compared with other Mid-Tier devices, the Oppo A54 5G performance is superior to some competitors like the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro, or the Samsung A52 5G.
BATTERY LIFE - Days of Use
The Oppo A54 5G autonomy was close to 56 hours with a 90 Hz refreshing rate and 60 with 60 Hz as shown in Figure 1. Based on the ViserMark test protocol, The Oppo A54 5G smartphone obtained a Battery Life score of 2.5 Days of Use.
The average Day of Use ViserMark score of Mid-Tier devices is “2.0” Days. The performance of the average Mid-Tier devices places the OPPO A54 5G in the top 10 in the ViserMark raking table in terms of autonomy compared with other Mid-Tier devices.
CHARGING TIME - Hours and Minutes
The charging time to 100% was 2 hours and 49 minutes, with the 10W fast charge option included.
The average Charging Time is 1:40 for a Smartphone within the ViserMark Mid-Tier ranking. This places the Oppo A54 5G smartphone in the low range of the ViserMark ranking table, with room to improve in order to compete with other Mid-Tier smartphones.

In conclusion, the Oppo A54 5G stands out from other Mid-Tier smartphones due to its additional features compared with its price. A big battery also assures decent autonomy. There are still areas where improvements can be made for the Chinese brand in terms of charging time and power efficiency to ensure top table positions of best-performing smartphones in ViserMark ranking.
